Semi-Finals Game 1: Metapan - Santa Ana 101-77

Metapan outrebounded Santa Ana 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Metapan players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Brayan Garcia stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Marcos Menjivar chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Metapan's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Lee Vasquez responded with 26 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Puerto Rican forward Xavier Zambrana (193-1991) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Metapan and four Santa Ana players scored in double figures.
